What You’re Getting Yourself Into

As a Paid Social Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of the brand’s advertising success. This high-level role not only involves shaping the strategy, campaign planning, and budget management but also eventually leading a team of SEM and Paid Social buyers. Your expertise will drive the launch and optimization of cutting-edge campaigns, propelling a brand that is revolutionizing how we energize. You'll oversee all active ads, and continually innovate with new angles, campaigns, funnels, and offers. Your strategic insights will guide the creative team, highlighting what's working, what needs exploration, and analyzing why certain angles fell short. This is a full-time position open internationally. Some benefits may vary if you’re outside of the US and would be based on a contractor agreement.

How You Will Spend Your Time

  • Directly manage and optimize monthly ROAS and CAC goals on paid platforms through hands-on campaign planning and execution.
  • Regularly analyze performance data, personally extracting meaningful insights to optimize campaigns and achieve better outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team, actively participating in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ad copies and creative concepts for testing, and providing detailed, actionable insights into what’s working and what’s not.
  • Maintain effective and consistent communication with the creative team, offering hands-on feedback about account performance, areas for further exploration, and reasons for campaign failures.
  • Enhance conversion rates by conducting detailed funnel analyses and personally suggesting strategic improvements to streamline the customer journey.
  • Dive deep into customer personas to gain profound insights into target audiences, while closely monitoring competitor activities to proactively anticipate market shifts and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Strategize on the best channel mixes to drive maximum growth, actively identifying new opportunities to scale in both digital and traditional media.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, updates, and best practices in eCommerce and media buying, actively refreshing strategies and methodologies to remain competitive and relevant.

Who You Are

  • You have several years of experience in media buying and have directly managed clients with an ad spend of at least $1.5MM per month
  • You have strong hands-on experience working with Meta and a deep understanding of other paid channels such as TikTok, Snapchat, Google, and Pinterest
  • You have worked with clients from the D2C industry, either as part of an in-house team, an agency, or both.
  • You have t-shaped marketing knowledge, understanding different areas of the marketing funnel
  • You have strong copywriting skills that help make hesitant customers convert
  • You have the drive to consistently improve yourself, and actively spend your time reading about new trends, industry changes, and best practices
  • You are detail-oriented & love analyzing and tracking data
  • You are a self-starter and can motivate yourself without others’ guidance
  • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal
