About The Role

Our client is revolutionizing the payroll industry with innovative embedded payroll solutions. They are dedicated to empowering software platforms to create new payroll businesses and transform the way companies pay their employees. The company values a caring culture, with teams of creative problem solvers and empathetic collaborators. The role involves identifying partners, signing strategic accounts, and building sales strategy, including agreements with executives at software companies and global enterprises.


Responsibilities:

  • Sell to strategic accounts within the software space and sign multi-hundred thousand dollar deals up to multi-million dollar deals
  • Support all aspects of deal execution, including prospecting, outbound efforts, sales execution, internal management, negotiations, and contract execution
  • Develop account plans for winning and expanding a book of business
  • Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
  • Work with stakeholders across the Hiring Company organization in product, compliance, operations, and more to secure what is needed to close strategic deals
  • Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at new accounts
  • Work with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, and Finance) to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses


Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience selling in technology enterprise sales
  • Direct experience closing growth accounts that involve 6+ month-long sales cycles
  • Experience building relationships with C-level executives and managing accounts with multiple stakeholders
  • Executive presence, clear and concise communication style
  • Experience managing a complex enterprise sales motion
  • Hardworking self-starters with a proven track record of closing multi-million dollar deals with partners
  • Creative and persistent networker to locate decision-makers, build relationships, and negotiate
  • Strong ability to assess product-market fit and prioritize initiatives based on potential business impact
  • History of exceeding sales quota
  • Experience working with technology infrastructure or fin-tech infrastructure preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to rally organizational support
  • High energy level and intellectual curiosity in a fast-paced, start-up environment


Travel and Office Policy:

Our client is distributed across the US and they have offices in New York City and San Francisco. While remote work is welcomed, they believe time together in person is valuable and important. They offer ample opportunities and encourage employees to attend team offsites, events, and hackathons a couple of times a year. They expect all employees to be willing to attend their annual 3-day company offsite in the fall.


For the in-office and hybrid employees, their offices are open all week. They provide meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the team hosts regular happy hours, game nights, etc.


What they offer:

For full-time employees, the Hiring Company offers company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, short-term/long-term disability, and basic life insurance coverage, effective on the first day of work. Salary Range

  • The expected range in San Francisco, NYC, LA, and Seattle is $161,000 and $187,500, with performance-based compensation varying between $69,000 and $80,000.
  • For all other locations, $136,850 and $159,460, with performance-based compensation also varying between $58,650 to $68,340.
