About The Role
We re looking for a senior-level Content Designer who s an excellent writer, design thinker, and customer champion. You ll join
an exciting team that s building out the new PayPal vision within the financial services space, including a focus on NFC.
You re the ideal candidate if love using words to tell stories, solve problems, and make the world a better place. You re just as
happy brainstorming big-picture strategy as you are crafting compelling headlines and helpful error messages. You re naturally
curious and have a deep need not only to understand products inside-out, but to challenge and question existing experiences to
raise the bar. You're driven to define and solve problems, putting customer needs first. You re excited to work in a fast-paced,
high-tech environment that requires independent self-direction as well as collaboration and open communication.
Your Day to Day
Plan and write UX content for web and mobile experiences (across all touch points including navigation and user
interface copy, emails, push and in-app notifications).
Collaborate with Design on page layout, interactions, and visual tone.
Use data-driven insights about experience gaps and customer pain points to brainstorm and build proposed experience
solutions.
Drive the definition of a clear and actionable strategic direction for content in this problem/solution space.
Coordinate and advise content designers on other teams to share context and clarity you ve gleaned from customer
research.
Use data and research to evaluate your content s impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows real results.
What You Need To Bring
7+ years professional writing experience for web or mobile content; UX writing for apps preferred.
Excellent, highly creative writing and critical thinking skills.
Experience working with content standards, like style and voice and tone guidelines.
At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, driving through ambiguity, working individually, and collaborating across teams.
Experience in financial services, payments, B2B or B2C e-commerce is preferred.
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science, or related field preferred
