The role requires engagement with internal and external resources and typically combines knowledge of the energy sector and broader experience in effective business analysis:Sub-Saharan Africa

• 3YRs+ experience in SCADA, WAMS and DER Management systems.
• Experience in Energy Transition domain, Grid Operations and Asset & Actor modelling.
• Working experience of SCADA protocols (IEC104, ICCP), Alarms & event processing, Historian, Network Modelling, CIM framework, Energy Market Operations and control room operations.
• Understanding of GE products – GridOS, AGC, AEMS, Operational Forecasting and Dynamic Security Assessment (DSA).
• Working experience of GE Products – GridOS, AGC, AEMS, Operational Forecasting

• A strong knowledge of the energy sector, including both industry and regulatory matters;
• Extensive experience gathering, writing and analyzing requirements and taking them through to conceptualization with experience in authoring technical documentation and end user documentation;
• Excellent analytical skills, including a proven ability to quickly analyze and develop data models, identify patterns, business rules, workflows and interfaces;
• Proven ability to conceptualize, develop and articulate solutions and to specify functional / non-functional technical requirements that are well accepted by stakeholders within short time-frames;
• Effectively communicate (verbal or written) to internal and external stakeholders. Sound interpersonal, consultation and facilitation skills coupled with proven ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of diverse internal teams;
• Ability to work as directed, while using initiative and gather experience to take preventative steps when required to ensure that a program or project meets deliverable targets.Sub-Saharan Africa
