These are your tasks:

• Innovative product design: You play a crucial role in redesigning features and products to maximize their robustness and fault tolerance. Your passion for quality takes our products to a new level.
• Accurate manual testing: Through extensive manual testing, you ensure that our software for internal products such as the customer portal, our own extension store and internal business processes meet the highest standards.
• Cross-functional collaboration: In close collaboration with our Product Owner and development team, you will ensure that the quality of our software is continuously optimized. Your expertise will help to ensure that we always fulfil the needs of our customers.
• Developing precise test strategies: You develop precise test cases, well thought-out test plans and meaningful test reports to continuously ensure the quality of our software. Your structured way of working is the key to our success.
• Proactive error prevention: You establish measures and procedures to recognize and avoid errors at an early stage. Your proactive approach minimizes risks and ensures a reliable software solution.
• Promoting test automation: Together with other developers and QA colleagues, you actively drive the introduction of test automation in our department. Your commitment to innovative technologies makes us more future-proof.
• Optimization of QA workflows: You optimize QA workflows within the department and promote a lively exchange of knowledge among QA colleagues. Your contribution enables efficient work and continuous development.

This is what you'll bring to the table:

• You have at least two years of demonstrable experience in the field of quality assurance.
• You are experienced in writing automated tests and already have extensive knowledge of test automation tools, ideally Playwright.
• Ideally, you already have some experience with shop systems, especially Shopware 6.
• You are characterized by a high degree of personal responsibility and reliability as well as your pronounced quality awareness.
• You not only impress with your strong analytical thinking skills, but also with your structured way of working. You know how to empathize with the role of the user to test the software from their perspective.
• You have a solid technical understanding. Basic knowledge of programming languages and testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, Cypress, Selenium or Nightwatch is an advantage.
• You are motivated to deal with the source code to identify potential problems.
• As a team player, you enjoy liaising directly with software developers and QA colleagues.
• You are fluent in English and convincing communication skills round off your profile.
