Job Description:
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans to ensure SoC functionality goals are met as per Spec.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design and validation issues, and to optimize design and validation methodologies.
- Define SoC validation methodologies, validation test plans, executes validation plans, familiarity with validation infrastructure and collaborates with other engineers for design optimization, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Perform silicon debug to identify root causes of failures and resolve functional and triage issues.
- Test interactions between SoC features using validation infrastructure and develop content to increase IP interactions.
- Publish validation reports and communicate results to relevant teams.
- Engage in all phases of the product life cycle, developing and validating content, infrastructure, and bug hunts in multiple environments.
Please consider that this is a Temporary position (12 months).
A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:
- Advanced communication skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in the following areas:
- silicon or platform validation.
- debugging skills in SOC, BIOS, Firmware.
- software development using either C, C++ or Python programming languages.
- High intermediate to Advanced English level.
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in México (the position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship).
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
- Knowledge of Power Management domain (such as Pstates, Cstates, Package C, RAPL, SOC Thermal etc).
- Knowledge of Intel Server architecture.
