About the job

As a key member of our dynamic organisation, spearheading innovation within the global mining industry, the Marketing Lead will play an important role in implementing marketing activities to drive business growth in Australia and North America. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Lead is responsible for executing activities aligned to business objectives, supporting short and long-term marketing goals, including website updates, content development, briefing and leading the development of asset creation suitable for customer, paid, owned and earned channels.


MEVCO is a portfolio company of Resource Capital Funds (RCF), offering a global startup environment that aims to transform the operation of mining vehicles and contribute to the sustainability of the mining industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support Marketing Director with content planning, development, maintenance, and circulation.
  • Work together with Events Manager with collateral maintenance to support vehicle sales and ongoing customer retention (eg. Brochures, training material, guides and manuals)
  • Analytics and insights summary and dissemination.
  • Track and monitor performance against expected targets and milestones to ensure their teams deliver on expectations.
  • Execute marketing plan to deliver on divisional goals and priorities based on the broader MEVCO business strategy.
  • Work closely with agency partners – providing clear, concise briefs and measuring outcomes against objectives.
  • In consultation with Marketing Director develop scope of work and phased approach for website refresh. Act as key liaison with the agency in throughout the development process.
  • Plan and implement content updates for the website.
  • Provide procurement with branding and direction on specifications for merchandise such as signage, uniform and promotional items.
  • Support Marketing Director with agency tenders – PR and website.
  • Support Marketing Director with internal and customer comms planning and execution.
  • Support Event Manager, when required, with the coordination of key events customer comms, budget management, branded material and promo items and feedback.
  • Cross functional collaboration.



Qualifications and Skills:


  • Minimum 5-7+ years’ experience in marketing/ brand / events role.
  • Business / marketing degree or qualification preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of the mining industry preferred, or alternatively proven track record in technology, business or automotive.
  • Demonstrated best practice approach collaborating with others, working with sales, marketing, engineering professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to generate strong relationships with stakeholders to work collaboratively and enhance business performance.
  • Proven ability to generate actionable insights from various data sources.
  • Experience in working with agency partners.
  • Ability to develop a clear and concise brief, outlining objectives, context, and requirements.
