He is looking for an experienced and passionate Social Media Manager to oversee his personal brand and elevate his skincare brand’s online presence. As a key member of his team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping his social media strategy, creating compelling content, and driving engagement across multiple platforms.
Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Multiple Platforms: Manage and optimize our client’s personal brand and skincare brand across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
- Lead Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followership, with the goal of reaching 1 million followers by the end of the year.
- Content Ideation: Collaborate with our client to brainstorm, plan, and create social media content aligned with brand voice and objectives.
- Video Content Creation: Utilize basic video editing skills to process raw footage and provide guidelines to editors for producing social-media-ready short videos (10 per week) and long-form videos (1 per week).
- Thumbnail Creation: Create eye-catching thumbnails optimized for each video to maximize views and engagement.
- Written Content Creation and Adaptation: Craft compelling captions and adapt video scripts to Twitter threads that resonate with the audience and drive conversation.
- Market Research: Conduct basic market research within the skincare industry to identify trends, topics, and content opportunities.
- Search Optimization: Utilize SEO techniques to optimize search volumes and increase discoverability of content.
- Analysis Reports: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize views and followership.
- Strong Communication: Communicate effectively with our client and the team, receive feedback, and provide regular progress reports every two weeks.
- Strong Digital Foundation: Successfully establish and grow their social media channels, creating a solid foundation for their digital marketing efforts.
- Enhanced Engagement: Achieve a significant increase in engagement through strategic content creation and active community management.
- Market Leadership: Position our client’s personal brand as a thought leader in the digital healthcare space through innovative and informative social media content.
- Experienced Social Media Manager: Proven experience managing highly demanding influencers or personal brands across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
- Industry Experience: Background and passion for the skincare industry, with a strong understanding of skincare trends, products, and consumer behavior.
- Creative Skills: Basic video editing capabilities (ideal) and graphic design skills to create social media content and thumbnails.
- Strong Communicator: Fluent English communication skills for strategy sessions, caption creation, feedback, and reporting.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and optimize content performance.
- Search Optimization: Experience with basic SEO strategies and tools to increase search volumes and visibility.
- Independent and Proactive: Self-driven, creative, and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
