The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) serves as the primary organisation representing the psychiatry medical specialty in Australia and New Zealand. The role

In this role you will provide comprehensive support for selected applications within our organization. Responsibilities include administering day-to-day operations, delivering user training, creating and updating documentation, and resolving technical issues promptly. Ideal candidates possess strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to ensuring smooth software functionality for end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incident Management: Via service desk tickets, investigate and analyse reported incidents, document findings, and provide resolutions within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles, to enable end-users to resolve common issues independently.
  • Escalation and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, developers, system administrators, and business analysts to escalate and resolve application issues and ensure effective communication throughout the incident resolution process.
  • Application Testing: Assist in the testing and quality assurance process for new software releases and updates to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
  • Training and User Support: Conduct training sessions and create user guides to educate end-users on application functionalities and best practices, enabling them to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Your Experience

  • Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for software applications in a professional setting.
  • Proven experience in developing and presenting end user training for applications.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows) and Microsoft applications including Teams, SharePoint and the M365 suite of applications.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
