We are hiring a L2 Support Specialist to join our Spanish team in Madrid!


As a member of the Services Solutions Practice the L2 Support Specialist will fulfill a supporting role within the business unit. Specifically, she/he will drive best in class practices to assist the department to ensure services delivery excellence, and will contribute to a high performance environment in order to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.


Your qualifications:

Applications with no technical qualifications won’t be considered

  • Prior significative experience in similar Technical Support Centers (at least 5 years)
  • Knowledge of Palo Alto Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
  • Fluent in English & Spanish
  • Knowledge of any other major European language will be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player, used to work within an international team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to independently to debug broad, complex, and unparalleled networks with mixed media and protocols required
  • In-depth experience in routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP)
  • Experience with security (IPSEC, SSL-VPN, NAT, GRE)
  • Experience with Authentication Protocols a plus (Radius / TACACS)
  • Experience with another technologies like Cisco, Checkpoint, F5 Networks products is a plus


Your main tasks:

 Please note you must be able to work in shifts.

  • Provide post sales technical support, configurations, troubleshooting, and standard methodologies to customers via phone, e-mail, and web,
  • Handle support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups finished in a timely manner,
  • Use fault isolation and root cause analysis skills to diagnose and tackle complicated technical issues,
  • Maintaining customer documentation,
  • Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business,
  • Analyzing system requirements within companies and giving independent and objective advice on the use of systems,
  • Developing agreed solutions and implementing new systems,
  • Provide on-call support on an as needed basis.
