About You
Are you interested in building real-time services that operate on massive volumes of constantly changing data? Want to work on a project with an impact on every single engineering team in the company? Ever thought about what it would take to build data platforms at the internet scale?
Your Day
As a Software Engineer in Yahoo’s Observability team, you will specialize in building high performance, high throughput, distributed, and scalable systems that would be capable of handling millions of data points/second in real-time; storage systems handling massive write rates and queries that scan through millions of rows. You will work hand-in-hand with world-class teams of other software engineers and architects to build amazing experiences that will delight our users.
This role will involve some staggered hours, (later start times) to ensure successful collaboration with US colleagues in the early stages of the role.
