Job Overview
NobleReach is seeking a Partnerships Director, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Talent Program. This is a key leadership role in driving strategic engagements with government and government-adjacent partners for the NobleReach Scholars program. This role will oversee the creation and management of partnerships with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as organizations working closely with the government to address national security challenges. The Director will shape the program’s approach to aligning talent with mission-critical opportunities in the public sector, ensuring that partnerships are impactful and aligned with the organization’s vision.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy for a portfolio of federal, state, and local agencies and government-adjacent organizations, managing the full relationship lifecycle-from identifying and securing placement opportunities to stewarding ongoing partnerships that ensure long-term engagement and program successCultivate and maintain high-level relationships with senior government officials, federal executives, and leaders within government-adjacent sectors, overseeing the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements that deliver long-term strategic value for both partiesAct as the primary representative of the Scholars program in strategic discussions with government partners, advocating for placements and ensuring alignment with federal and state initiatives in national security and technologyMonitor government policy trends and emerging priorities that could create opportunities for Scholars placements and program growthCollaborate with internal teams to ensure effective execution of partnership agreements and program deliveryManage and mentor the Partnerships team, providing strategic oversight, professional development, and coaching to drive high performanceRepresent the organization at public sector conferences, working groups, and high-profile government meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in Business, Public Policy, Technology, or related field preferred7-10 years of experience in strategic partnerships or program leadership, with a significant focus on government partnershipsProven track record in developing high-level partnerships with government agencies or government-adjacent organizationsStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a growing teamExcellent negotiation and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of how to align public and private sector interestsExperience in the federal government or organizations with a focus on national security, public policy, or emerging technologiesExperience with CRM systems and data management; proficiency in Salesforce is a strong plusBackground in or adjacency to workforce development, talent placement, or mission-driven talent initiativesExceptional public speaking and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior government officials and external stakeholdersStrong strategic thinking, able to balance immediate program needs with long-term partnership goalsMust have an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to have an impact on societyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment; ability to exercise flexibility and good judgment in complex situationsAppetite for curiosity and desire to learn
