The role of a Housing Coordinator is to connect with students/families and provide personalized guidance on apartment complexes and roommate options. The assigned Coordinator leads students through the entire process of relocation. Additionally, A Housing Coordinator assists current students with roommate replacement or new apartment assistance as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide the Full Sail Housing Guide to all incoming students while emphasizing the importance of utilizing the Housing Department.
Connecting with enrolling and active students through inbound and outbound calls, emails, warm transfers and working closely with post-enrollment campus admission teams.
Educating and supporting students and parents with relocation and addressing all questions & concerns as they arise.
Managing contact lists for assigned classes based upon the on campus start date.
Conducting interviews and creating roommate profiles for the roommate lists.
Emailing the roommate lists weekly, frequency varies based upon on campus start date.
Maintaining a list of current students that need to find a replacement roommate or someone to take over their current lease.
Daily data entry from housing forms/documents submitted by students once they have secured their local address or have confirmed living arrangements.
Tracking and creating a monthly breakdown showing percentages of students that used the Full Sail Housing Guide versus securing housing by other means, e.g., commuting, living with family, student housing, purchased, etc.
Creating a list of referrals each month by apartment complex.
Managing and coordinating bi-monthly revisions and deadlines for the Full Sail Housing Guide.
Other Responsibilities:
Maintaining strong relationships with management and staff of partnered apartment properties.
Frequently communicating with apartment Leasing Agents for availability, current pricing, waitlist information and pending student application questions.
Following up monthly with students who had not yet secured housing from previous month(s).
Tracking incoming students with incomplete housing information and sending them task reminder emails.
Speaking with private renters that have a room/condo for rent.
Presenting housing information through a live monthly webinar
Presenting housing information at a monthly on-campus open house (pre-COVID-19).
Participating at on-campus registrations (pre-COVID-19).

2 years of college or work experience

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to; bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
