Position Responsibilities:
Provides medical assistance as an out-patient or clinic worker.
Assists the Medical Doctor or Intermediate Level Health Care Worker in the care of patients. Performs nursing practices according to level of training and requirements of the situation.
May involve work with an ethnic group.
May be assigned to a Center.
May perform duties of nursing as a primary responsibility.
May be assigned as a language worker or in other field with nursing as a secondary responsibility. May train nationals to perform nursing duties.
KSA Competency:
Finished three year RN program.
Experience in patient care.
Experience or knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases helpful.
Education and Experience:
RN degree.
Experience in patient care.
Experience or knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases helpful.
Training and Orientation:
Members will complete the normal training and orientation program.
STMs will be given an individualized training and orientation program.
