How does the program work?

Start your career with some of the most iconic brands in the country such as Samsung, Tecno, Infinix, Delron, Bruhm, Hikers, Nivea, Unilever, Oraimo and Nasco and finding them new generations of shoppers and new reasons to be purchased.  Our Marketing teams play a big role in ensuring our vendor brands live and breathe their purpose. We want to create future “Marketing Performance Managers” for our vendor brands: balancing strategic thinking for the future with real time business performance and understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Creating compelling and powerful stories to make our existing vendor brands even stronger will be critical to their ongoing success.
• Working as part of a team, you’ll use your creativity, vision and pioneering spirit to bring vendor our brands to life.
• You will be able to build your experience across multiple Marketing disciplines including marketing performance and drivers, social media, innovation, budget management, offline shopper marketing and activation.
• You shall be expected to gain a holistic understanding of Jumia’s operations and strategic directions.
• You will lead projects, supported by a comprehensive mentoring program.
• You will be expected to immerse yourself in training sessions, coaching, and alumni networks.
• You will collaborate cross-functionally, leveraging your diverse experiences.

Contractual Conditions:

• National Service: Your first year with us will be classified as your National Service as required by the Government of Ghana
• Internship Contract: You will continue into your second year with a fixed internship contract providing stability and security from the outset of your career with Jumia.
• Attractive Compensation & Benefits: We offer an above-average intern allowance package, ensuring your contributions are recognized and rewarded accordingly.

Who are we looking for?

Candidates should:

• Have acquired or be expecting to obtain an academic degree and be graduating in 2024 from a recognised and accredited university
• Have passion for technology and digital innovation
• Have acquired a minimum 3months of previous relevant internships
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and creativity
• Possess exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Be fluent in English
• Must be prepared to relocate geographically during the program
• Be a curious, flexible, self-motivated team-player who loves to turn ideas into action
• Be someone who shows integrity, respect for others and, above all, a passion for learning something new every day.
