Job Description Summary

• The role of the Analyst is to provide analytical support, information research, financial modeling, report writing and to contribute to the team’s overall servicing of clients.
• This requires the Analyst to collaborate with senior team members throughout the consulting and/or transaction process, and to contribute ideas for improvement and innovation.
• The Analyst gathers and assembles data, using quantitative methods to analyze performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations that support the client and team goals.
• The Analyst will also assist in preparing and organizing client presentations.

Job Description

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, research and due diligence, and then organize data into logical communication and messages as part of client presentation materials
  • Real estate and financial modeling, labor cost models and other quantitative projections
  • Assist with review of leases, proposals and other documents during the transaction process
  • Use PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote and other applicable presentation tools to organize and demonstrate recommended models for client presentations
  • Support and contribute to a collaborative, teamwork environment
  • Challenge status quo thinking
  • Respond to team requests in a timely manner, meeting all team and project deadlines
  • Attend client presentations to assist and support senior team members
  • Build effective client relationships
  • Meet all project deadlines
  • Assist in project tracking and administration
  • Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data for inclusion into client briefings, presentations, and reports
  • Assist senior team members in the research and development of white papers and industry reports
  • 25-50% travel, including California, Austin, New York and other markets as needed
  • Other job duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, [Engineering,] or related field preferred
  • Minimum two years consulting or analyst experience preferred
  • Real estate capital markets experience preferred
  • Solid economic, financial, and quantitative problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote)
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit high quality, error free written materials
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge and comfort with public speaking
  • Excellent analytical and financial aptitude
  • Exceptional organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities and projects, keeping all team members informed of progress and issues
  • Ability to be creative and resourceful

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $106,250.00 - $125,000.00
