This role is central to building tools that are not only valuable but deeply loved by users. Own the development of one or more products.
Contribute to technical architecture decisions, including cloud service selection, data modeling and software design patterns.
Develop new software solutions and improve existing code written in Python, Typescript, and SQL.

The process is deeply user-centered, relying heavily on the voices of both users and members to guide product decisions. The product team serves as both a strategic driver and a creative design function, working closely with engineering and leadership in seamless collaboration. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Expertise in one or more of the following languages: Javascript, Typescript, Python, SQL.
Experience with AWS and Snowflake a plus.
Strong approach to problem solving and ability to work in an integrated team environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to teach and bring others along with your best thinking.
Experience in healthcare or related fields is a plus.

This can either be a full-time employee position working directly for our client, or a long-term contract position (if you would prefer). The compensation target is $155,000 - $185,000/yr. with great benefits (Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k) and unlimited PTO. If you would prefer to be a contractor, we can talk about compensation and hourly rates (please no agencies).Our client s core team is located in the greater Washington DC area.
