We are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team at Animal House Vets.
As the first point of contact, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
What does the role involve?
*Greet clients and their pets as they arrive at the clinic
*Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
*Check-in patients and verify their information
*Update patient records and ensure accuracy of information
*Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
*Maintain cleanliness of reception area and exam rooms
About the rota
This is a full-time role working 39.75 hours per week. This will either be spread over 5 days or as 4 longer days, these hours will also include working 1 in 4 Saturdays. The shifts could be at any of our 4 branches so someone who drives and has their own car would be preferred.
Our ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and experience in customer service and administrative tasks, and a minimum of three GCSEs grade 4/C or above.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written , strong organisational skills and attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment , proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and experience in customer service and administrative tasks.
