Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $87,200.00 - $130,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Senior Data Analyst will use a variety of data platforms, data sources, and BI tools to develop and communicate meaningful business insights to various internal stakeholders including the Financial Planning and Executive Leadership teams.  We are looking for a hard-working and creative problem solver to join our dynamic team of analysts.  Senior Data Analyst will work collaboratively with team members owning various stages of the data modeling process to iterate on and strengthen our data modeling and analytics capabilities.   Subject matter will be initially focused on sales, financial performance, and client segmentation.  A major focus of this position is the development and distribution of complex enterprise scale reporting through use of queries, BI tools and excel.  As an analytic SME, Senior Data Analyst will perform the analysis of key questions, sales performance scenarios, hypothesis development and testing, and modeling of recommended solutions. They may also interact with and communicate finding/recommendations/results to senior business leaders on behalf of the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain complex SQL views in the Finance Snowflake database to extract required information for reporting.
• Collaborate closely with members of the Sales Finance and Engineering teams to develop and maintain actionable data models.
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting, ad hoc analysis, and dynamic self-service user reports and dashboards with a focus on sales financial performance. 
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand user needs and capture development requirements.  Work iteratively with stakeholders to improve and expand existing modeling and reporting capabilities.
• Champion data quality, accuracy, usability and reliability by documenting and applying best practices in development and implementation.
• Create useful documentation, lead hands-on training, and support general understanding and usage by internal data stakeholders and governed data models.
• Develop creative solutions to automate manual processes. 

WHO YOU ARE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field and 4 years related experience. A minimum of 8 years combined education and experience is required without a degree.
• Be a self-starter - work independently with minimal direction or oversight.
• Excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where speed and quality are paramount.
• 4+ years of experience querying databases and working with large data sets. 
• 3+ years of advanced data modeling and SQL coding experience. 
• 3+ years of analytics experience developing insights using Business Intelligence tools/platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including logical calculations.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate analysis findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Produce high-quality work that is accurate, insightful, and actionable with attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Experience with Snowflake and DBT
