We are looking for a Director, Global FP&A to join Element Fleet Management.   As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Director, Global FP&A you will be responsible for the consolidation and analysis of Element Fleet Management’s global financials to senior executive stakeholders, providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.  You will be responsible for the organization’s global balance scorecard, including the design, measurement, and ongoing reporting to senior executive stakeholders while ensuring alignment with the overall broader strategy. This includes the management and oversight of Element’s US/CA revenue and expenses, operational product revenues, syndication revenues, operating expenses (“OpEx”), capital and other investments (“Investments”).

A Day in the Life 

Global Budgeting and Forecasting Modelling & Analysis

  • Own, maintain and improve upon our global budgeting, forecasting and reporting models Identify opportunities to automate or improve existing workflows to deliver better modelling scenarios to key stakeholders
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends and recommend optimization strategies
  • Oversee financial modelling, scenario analysis and risk management activities

Collation of Global Financial activities and processes

  • Coordination of all global financial processes and balance scorecard processes
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to collate all financial details and ensure alignment with financial goals with business objectives

Drive multi-year strategic plan

  • Develop and manage the multi-year strategic plan, ensuring plan enables strategic growth objectives
  • Be a value driver, reducing global opex run-rate and increasing global revenue run-rate though identification of revenue leakage, challenge and elimination of waste, and providing strong monthly reporting & reviews for Executive Leadership

Reporting, presentation and analysis

  • Lead the preparation of senior and executive-level reports and analysis for key stakeholders including the Board
  • Lead various senior and executive leadership presentations & coordination, including the monthly operating review presentation
  • Own all financially focused Board Reporting

Leadership oversight

  • Develop a high performing team of innovative, client-centric and Finance-oriented individuals. 
  • Develop and lead by example an inclusive culture that demands and rewards high performance, exceptional teamwork across the entire organization, and a consistently deliver on the commitments made.  

Investor Relation inquiries and Ad hoc support

  • Provide support to investor relations inquiries and requests, as required
  • Provide and deliver on other ad hoc activities, as required

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field of study
  • Minimum of ten years of FP&A experience with global exposure, in a finance, business operations, or audit role at a top-tier management consulting firm, high-growth and/or technology organization
  • Expertise in financial software and advance modelling techniques
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced or high growth environment is a plus
  • CPA qualification with knowledge of IFRS accounting principles is a plus

  • Resourceful and relentless: independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results.
  • Quick and scrappy learner who adapts well to a fast-moving environment and gets things done, combines creativity, problem- solving skills, and a can-do attitude to overcome any obstacle
  • Proficient with other Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Power Point
  • Experience with automation technologies and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Power Automate, Smartsheet workflow, Alteryx, or other BI tools is a plus. 
  • Experience with data analysis tools, SQL; in its absence, eagerness to learn is a must
  • Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA and/or OneStream a plus but not required

The hiring base salary range for this position is $133,400 - $183,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
