Job Description:

Supply Chain Intern within the Transformers division, you will assist the International contracts Management and Transportation, Trade & Logistics teams. You will use professional
communication, critical thinking, and time management skills to support on active projects. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will work with other motivated interns and members of the Category Management, Planning & Fulfillment, and local Plant
teams to expand your knowledge, skills, and abilities related to Supply Chain.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
• Support Order Managers with administrative tasks related to order entry, invoicing, and Master Data management
• Streamline work instructions and organize processes into standardized SOP template
• Manage existing and new customer records together with the Masta Data Governance team.
• Apply and implement Hitachi Energy SCM standards, tools, and processes
• Business travel – 1-3 possible trips over the summer internship period
Your background:
• Rising junior or senior obtaining their bachelor’s degree in related field OR master’s student
• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles
• Demonstrated project management skills for multi-discipline projects
• Good communication skills both oral and written
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Multilingual is a plus
