Executive Dir Global Oncology Access and Pricing

Our Oncology global pricing and access team is dedicated to delivering breakthrough innovations that extend and improve the lives of cancer patients worldwide. Our team of forward-thinking individuals achieve this through an unwavering commitment to support patient accessibility to medicines, providing new therapeutic solutions, and collaborating with cross functional partners to advance our exciting pipeline and lead launch execution excellence. Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of diverse high-performing Pricing and Access Strategy professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to optimize performance.
  • Lead development of Oncology global pricing strategies and PAR executional excellence to create and preserve value of key products whilst growing revenue and access for new indication launches.
  • Lead the creation launch pricing strategies and documentation to support the oncology LCM US & ex-US launches.
  • Lead enhancement of analytic capabilities to optimize management reporting & strategic decision making by working with GMAx Pricing colleagues and technical support teams to create new systems and methodologies.
  • Lead price strategy and analog support to new asset team members by researching analogs, business cases, and TPPs to inform global pricing guidance, forecasts, and strategies.
  • Lead optimization of performance of Oncology collaborations by shaping and supporting the strategic access strategy/tactics and documenting/communicating throughout the year to cross-divisional team members the ways of working with Alliance and Non-Alliance collaboration partners, as legally appropriate.
  • Lead collaboration with GRL colleagues to support access and pricing topics related to forecasts, lifecycle management, and product optimization.
  • Lead process of keeping senior stakeholders informed of important Oncology Pricing and Access trends, performance, and competition.

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree (ideally in a life science/ science/ analytical area)
  • Preferred: Master's Degree or doctoral degree (MD, PhD, JD, Engineering, business)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 15+ combined access, commercial, payer, HEOR or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries 10 years commercial experience; total of 15+ years’ experience
  • Global pricing and pricing approvals
  • Product launch and reimbursement experience
  • Landscape/ Marketplace assessment experience
  • Pricing excellence, including payer engagements, negotiations and partnerships
  • Development of pricing strategy, product positioning, portfolio pricing opportunities and risks and portfolio prioritization 
  • Understanding of scientific underpinnings of our clinical trials and those of competitors to effectively engage internal and external experts on best patient pricing and access strategies for the entire oncology portfolio 
  • Significant experience in oncology pricing, landscape analysis, contracting, CI simulations, HTA negotiations, IRA, US pricing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work and make decisions while dealing with ambiguity
  • Agility to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment, flexibility in managing and adapting to evolving internal and external dynamics and needs
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Must be able to influence without authority as well as work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills desirable
