Product Innovation Manager

Remote - USA

Position SUmmary:

WinePOS is looking for a Product Innovation Manager to work as part of the Research and Development Team.  You should have a strong software development background in highly scalable eCommerce solutions with a proven track record of project success and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

● Lead design meetings with development team

● Gather system requirements from stake holders and users

● Report status on assignments

● Manage project and team assignments via Trello or similar task management tool

● Document technical implementations

Required Qualifications:

● University/College education or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline

● Strong project management and/or team leadership experience

● Familiarity with SQL and/or SQL-backed Object Relational Mapping systems

● Fluid with git or other version control system

● Experienced with building, updating, expanding highly available and scalable eCommerce platforms

● Experience integrating with 3rd party providers via restful API using a variety of authentication techniques

● Strong experience with Linux and open source software, MySQL / PostgreSQL databases

● Experience with debugging and performance optimization of other people's code

● Experience with modern, cloud based development techniques using AWS

● Strong communicator and able to self-organize

Nice to Have:

● Experience with implementing AI based features

● Experience with SalesForce API integration

● Experience administering cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.)

● Experience with testing automation and CI/CD processes

● Experience with EDI and ETL processes

● Knowledge of modern JS/Typescript frameworks like React/Angular/Vue

● Mobile Development Experience
