Compensation: This position falls under the City of Denver Prevailing Wage Law. The base rate is $44.95/hr, however other rates may apply depending on job assignment within the scope of the job description.
General Summary
Installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure and equipment and provision of client utility services in adherence with safety requirements/codes, making sure that power is set and struck for events/clients and that it is to code.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical equipment and systems, including distribution panels, power and branch wiring, lighting and illumination wiring, low voltage control systems, fire alarm system, security intrusion/cctv system, and energized systems up to 480 volts. Calculate three phase and single-phase loads
- Prepare working sketches from blueprints and schematics
- Coordinate with other operations staff in scheduling efficient time management program for electrical-related maintenance of the facilities
- Maintain condition of electrical infrastructure in accordance with electrical and related safety/code requirements
- Resolve normal technical field problems
- Complete project and maintenance work successfully from beginning to end
- Operate computer-controlled building electrical systems proficiently
- Report inventory of all electrical equipment and supplies
- Make recommendations to the Electrical Foreman with regards to equipment and materials needed
- Participate in maintaining a safe working environment
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- Two to four years experience in a facility electrician position
- Knowledge of applicable electric codes preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Computer Skills

- Posses and maintain a valid and applicable license as a journeyman electrician in the state of Colorado.
- Valid Class C Colorado Driver's License
