JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, Field and Brand Activations, will be responsible for the management of local marketing initiatives and key system advertising campaigns related to the Denny’s brand. We are seeking someone who grasps the big picture while overseeing all the details needed to make marketing projects run smoothly. They must be resourceful, self-starter who has experience working on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment and who can motivate and train a team to support the growing needs of the business. They will work with both our internal creative group (CREATE) and external agency resources to strategically produce work that meets brand objectives while ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Key Responsibilities)

  • A key leader for all local franchisee marketing campaign requests to ensure alignment from internal stakeholders and managing the execution of creative deliverables with external and internal agency partners.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure that the creative team or agency is briefed on all creative needs across local and system campaigns which include film, radio, social, digital, CRM, loyalty, web.
  • Serves as a steward of the brand in reviewing creative, product, ensuring brand and campaign consistency across touchpoints.
  • Work closely with the brand and communications team to update and manage the timelines and execution of creative campaigns based on calendar and product strategy.
  • Oversees the execution of creative campaigns by ensuring timely delivery of assets to meet live dates across paid and owned.
  • Works with internal and external resources on broadcast production needs, attending shoots as needed and establishing best practices and processes.
  • Assists with social media promotional execution and content review.
  • Stays current on industry trends and trending moments in culture.
  • Assists on marketing needs of all virtual brands and initiatives as needed.
  • With support of the internal teams, develop processes that will ensure that creative product is trafficked on time and follows vendor specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

Education:

BA in Advertising, Communications or related field

Experience:

8 to 10 years’ experience in an agency environment, with specific experience around broadcast and digital preferred

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong project management skills including timeline development experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Unscrupulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and to coordinate communication across diverse work groups.
  • Self-starter with ability to problem-solve.
  • Spanish proficiency a plus.
