Responsibilities of the IT Network Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Design, Maintain and Manage the Network Infrastructure to ensure the reliable communication throughout the enterprise network
- Proactively monitor network for performance issues, bottlenecks, outages and design improvements
- Identify and resolve complex problems, both within a team and individually, with a focus on root cause analysis and increasing stability
- Maintain vendor relationships
- Display professionalism and customer service to all customers, internal and external
- Develops, with management team, short- and long-term strategy
Qualifications of the IT Network Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience
Requirements:
- CCNA or equivalent experience
- Advanced Routing and Switching in Cisco IOS and Cisco Nexus Networks
- Install and Management of Firewalls, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto Networks
- EIGRP, BGP, VTP, RSTP, MPLS, DMVPN, VPN Metro Ethernet and VPLS
- RADIUS / TACACS
- 802.1x, IPsec
- Wi-Fi, Cisco Wireless LAN Controller, LWAPP
- DHCP, DNS, IPAM
- QOS SolarWinds, Wireshark, NetFlow and KIWI
Preferred:
- CCNP
- Citrix XenApp (6.5)
- Citrix Access Gateway (Netscalar) , SLB, GSLB, etc
- Thin Clients
- VMware
- WAN Optimization
- WAN Virtualization
- NFS
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Windows Server 2012 R2
