We are regularly on the lookout for candidates who are seasoned Credit Analysts to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to prepare robust credit applications for Corporates across various industries in the country and region. The successful candidate will also support in monitoring the department/Branch credit portfolio, including borrower ratings, credit due date control and collaterals to identify any credit risks. This position provides a unique chance to develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within the company.

What you'll do:
As an Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst, your role will be pivotal in preparing robust credit applications for Corporates across a variety of industries. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and the Credit Division to resolve any complex credit application issues. Your excellent analytical skills will be utilised in reviewing borrower ratings and monitoring due date controls. You will also play a crucial role in assessing the health of the department's credit portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your industry knowledge while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within the company
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the region to deliver an integrated service for customers
Support Relationship Managers in resolving complex credit processes or operational issues
Prepare thorough credit applications for approvals, including analysis of cash flow projections
Review borrower ratings in accordance with company guidelines and policies
Monitor due date controls to support credit facility renewal and ensure timely completion of covenant checks
Assess the health of department’s credit portfolio, including borrower rating and collaterals control
What you bring:
As an Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst, you bring a wealth of experience from your time within the banking industry. Your degree qualification coupled with your basic accounting knowledge has equipped you with a solid foundation for this role. Your strong analytical skills enable you to interpret large and complex data sets, identifying implications that are critical for decision making. Your excellent communication and presentation skills allow you to effectively influence others using complex data or analysis. Your experience in preparing credit applications, including cash flow projections, will be invaluable in this role.
Degree qualified
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Corporate Credit Analyst within the banking industry
Basic accounting knowledge
Strong analytical skills to interpret large and complex data sets
Good communication and presentation skills with ability to influence others using complex data or analysis
Experience in preparing credit application including cashflow projection
Good knowledge of industries and economic environment in the region.
Detailed understanding of Bank’s products and their risks
