Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance our existing React Native apps for Android (near-ready) and iOS (advanced stages).
- Collaborate with the web development team to ensure seamless integration and maximum code reuse across platforms.
- Develop and refine shared components and architecture that bridge our React web app and mobile applications.
- Work alongside our team managing Python-based backend APIs in serverless environments on GCP.
- Contribute to transitioning some backend functions to containerized environments when necessary.
- Full-stack agility is a plus, though not a requirement.
- Implement contemporary CSS techniques to enhance the user interface and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure high-quality, responsive designs across all platforms.
- Integrate OAuth and Stytch for identity management, with specific attention to handling Google credential logins in React Native
Requirements
- Proven experience in React Native development for both Android and iOS.
- Solid background in React for web development, emphasizing code reuse and cross-platform integration.
- Familiarity with Python-based backend development and serverless environments (GCP preferred).
- Experience with containerization strategies is a plus.
- Strong command of contemporary CSS and responsive design principles.
- Practical experience with OAuth and identity management systems (e.g., Stytch) is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
