Job Description
Seeking a Conservation Account Manager to support the CoolSaver Program in Ottawa.
Successful candidate must be located in Ottawa.
In this role, you will...
Manage medium-sized key accounts, trade associations, and supply chain partners.
Develop and implement strategic account plans for key customers.
Identify and develop energy savings projects to meet targets.
Support customers with incentive applications and ensure project completion.
Achieve assigned energy savings targets.
Maintain client satisfaction and build new and existing client relationships.
Develop strategic relationships with industry associations and supply chain.
Identify energy efficiency measures in key account organizations.
Provide market intelligence, research, and strategic expertise.
Accompany trades people to various client locations and perform quality assurance and control
Exciting candidates will have...
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or agricultural energy efficiency.
Post-secondary education in Energy Efficiency or Sustainability or relevant professional designations preferred (e.g., P.Eng., CEM).
Strong HVAC knowledge with the ability to explain the programs in their complexity
Strong business development, account management experience (this includes building pipelines), and customer relations skills
Experience within industrial or engineering services companies, with a focus on growth.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, influence, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and a G class license with reliable transportation.
