Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized. Chip removal and area clean up around the machines.
  • General refuse management throughout the building including restrooms and all recycling containers. 
  • General facility maintenance: replacing air filter elements for building AC units and machine filters. 
  • Safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes and forklifts. 
  • Operation of support equipment: saw grinders, marking machines, surface treatments. 
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly. Will be responsible for the accurate input of information. 
  • Regular attendance is expected, regular over time and scheduled weekends are required. 
  • Comply with the requirements of risk assessments and safety procedures 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • Must have Utility person experience.
  • Must have forklift experience. 
  • Be willing to work OT and weekends when necessary.
