Job Summary: This position is for a HR SPEC (INFORMATION SYSTEMS/MILITARY), PD# D2931000, part of the Nevada Air National Guard. This position is located at the Military Personnel Flight (MPF), Force Support Squadron (FSS), Mission Support Group at an Air National Guard ANG Wing. Its primary purpose is to plan, organize, administer, and troubleshoot the operation and data base integrity of the Military Personnel Data System in support of military human resources management functions.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and communicate effectively orally and in writing. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: -GS-09: Must have a high level of technical skill in personnel systems and knowledge of military personnel policies, processes, and specialty areas, and the ability to relate these knowledges to system processes/functions/capabilities to provide positive assistance in solving workforce issues; to provide advice on organizational structure; to conduct planned, systematic studies to identify long- and short-term needs of serviced organizations; and to help plan organizational or procedural changes. - GS-11: Must have ability to serve as the primary point of contact to ensure the effective operation of satellite human resources interface with United States Air Force (USAF) servers and related human resources computers both hardware and software.
