ENDPOINT SECURITY ANALYST

About the Position

Ready, set, secure! We’re looking for a cybersecurity pro to implement and manage security solutions for Power Design’s systems, networks, and devices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.

Position Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Security Solutions: Develop and deploy security strategies and tools like antivirus software, endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, and encryption technologies
• Monitor and Respond to Security Incidents: Actively monitor networks and endpoints for suspicious activity, investigate security breaches, and implement strategies to mitigate threats
• Maintain Security Posture: Conduct regular system testing and vulnerability scanning, and apply security patches to keep systems secure
• Collaborate with IT Teams: Work with other teams to develop security policies and incident response plans and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to maintain a robust defense against evolving cyberattacks

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Strong Cybersecurity Fundamentals: A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response methodologies
• Endpoint Security Tools: Proficiency with endpoint security tools like EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, SentinelOne), antivirus software, and other relevant security technologies
• Networking Concepts: Understanding of network protocols, security configurations, and network segmentation strategies
• Operating Systems and Security: Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their security configurations
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with other teams and communicate security risks and solutions
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and develop effective solutions
