DescriptionThe Business Analyst role is an integral team member who works with the various groups to support the software development effort. For this role, the candidate will work directly with the customer and team members. They will be translating product requirements and developing them into well-defined user stories, features, and actionable items that will realize the product vision and deliver value to the customer.Requirements - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field.
- At least five (3+) years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a customer facing position.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with application testing and test case creation.
- Must have experience working with Agile/Scrum.
- Must have experience with Jira.
- Strong work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with or supporting multiple applications within a portfolio.
Certifications: At least one of the professional certifications:Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile certification preferred.Primary Responsibilities - Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements throughout the software development life cycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large features into user stories and tasks that can be understood and approved by members of the development team.
- Manage backlog(s) in Jira and documentation in Confluence.
- Provide product management support such as prioritization and backlog grooming.
- Coach the team to create better solutions, improve value delivered, and provide continuous process improvement.
- Facilitate team meetings, including Backlog Refinements, Plannings, Daily Stand-Ups, Demonstrations, and Retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and barriers to the team’s progress.
- Communicate and track agreed upon team metrics.
- Support the Project Manager to communicate and coordinate meetings, presentations, and develop teamwork products.
- Function as a quality assurance resource able to develop test cases and validate applications to ensure requirements are satisfied.

Other Information - The salary for this position is $55,000 - $80,000 annually
