Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Must be able to work in hot, humid conditions near loud, moving machine 

  • Requires full availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. 

  • Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting 50 lbs. or more. 

  • Ability to operator an industrial Tunnel and Dryer System.

  • Ability to program and run basic computer driven machinery.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • The Laundry Tunnel Operator is responsible for operating and loading of tunnel washer with proper linen weights, putting in correct formulas, unloading dryers, watching for any alarms. 

  • Program proper classification for batch, customer number and weight. 

  • Run production reports as needed. 

  • Clean machine area daily. 

  • Comply with all safety standards. 

  • Other duties as assigned.
