As a Business Process Analyst, you are responsible for implementing and developing a lean culture across the organization and supporting process improvement initiatives that result in improved process efficiency and profitability through the reduction of waste activities. Your role includes monitoring and observes existing and new processes for improvement opportunities in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through lean problem-solving methodologies, tracking and reporting progress of improvements against established key performance indicators and metrics, and working closely with organization leadership across all functions to determine expected results and prioritize improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and gaps.
· Develop structured process models using standardize methodologies.
· Ensure process definitions include all required components, including triggers, inputs, activities, outputs, events, dependencies, and interfaces.
· Support the development and enforcement of process governance rules to ensure consistency and compliance
· Align process structures with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
· Maintain the process architecture framework, ensuring integration across enterprise systems.
· Work closely with process owners and SMEs to validate structured processes before approval
· Assist in the structured handoff to technical wiring to ensure accurate documentation development
· Conduct process integrity review to prevent unauthorized modifications and ensure compliance
· Ensure engineered processes are properly integrated into enterprise systems.
· Support the implementation of process improvement, ensuring scalability and standardization
· Assist in change management efforts by ensuring process modifications follow governance rules.
· Participate in regular process audits to ensure adherence to governance policies
· Track process performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
· Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains within structure processes.

We are seeking a business process analyst to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our process engineering function. This role is critical in structuring, standardizing, and governing business processes to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance. The process analyst will be responsible for analyzing, modeling, restructuring, and validating business processes, ensuring alignment with SNC’s process architecture and regulatory standards.

This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, experience in process modeling and engineering methodologies, and the ability to work cross-functionally with process owners, compliance teams, and technical writers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Process Management, Systems Engineering, or related field of study and typically 2 or more years of work experience
                 • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  •  Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • 2+ years of experience in business process engineering, process modeling, or workflow standardization.
  • Strong knowledge of process modeling techniques
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to define and standardize processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex workflows into structured, repeatable processes,
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven industries
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with A3 Development and Management
  • Experience using Process Problem Solving and root cause analysis 
  • Experience with ArchiMate and BPMN
  • Experience with ABACUS enterprise architecture
  • Knowledge of AS900, ISO 15288, CMMI, or other industry process frameworks

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $64,900.00 - $85,296.00. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
