What You´ll Do
- Proficiency in CAD design (Part modeling, assemblies, drafting, and drawing creation) - Siemens NX ideally or similar
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles
- Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcenter)
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Competent in the generation of technical documentation
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, or technician qualification with relevant experience.
- 3+ years design experience within Aerospace or Military industry.
- Strong performance, manufacturability and cost.
- Experience working with suppliers.
- Experience in working with products across its full life cycle.
- Knowledge of metallic and non-metallic materials.
