We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Counterparty Management & Administration (“CMA”), to lead that team and join our Legal Operations team. CMA is responsible for facilitating counterparty onboarding, trading documentation, KYC, tax documentation, regulatory reporting set-up, and other operational pipeline matters required to establish and maintain trading relationships with our counterparties for a broad range of clients and products.
This team plays a critical role in ensuring accounts are fully trade-ready prior to launch by coordinating the legal, regulatory, and operational requirements necessary to enable trading across asset classes. This includes establishing trading relationships with counterparties, amending, and maintaining trade documentation, coordinating onboarding requirements, and partnering across Portfolio Management, Account Management, Transitions, Collateral Management, Legal, Compliance, Trading, Operations, and Tax to ensure seamless account launches and trading readiness.
The CMA manager will lead and oversee complex, multi-party onboarding and counterparty management initiatives, acting as a key decision-maker and escalation point across internal stakeholders and external counterparties. The role has global coverage across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, and is responsible for leading a team of direct reports, including offshore and outsourced resources.
This role is highly hands-on, requiring deep expertise in trading documentation, counterparty onboarding, account launch readiness, and related operational processes. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and sound judgment across products, legal structures, and onboarding workflows while operating under challenging timelines.
In addition to strategy, execution, and team leadership, the individual will be responsible for strengthening onboarding processes, driving scalability, improving transparency, and strengthening controls across the function. This will require knowledge of industry solutions, experience in building out proprietary systems and creative solutions using AI.
