The Seasonal Store Sales Manager (SSM) is responsible for leading and managing the store team to drive sales and achieve sales goals. This includes leading the team with daily goals, merchandising, product management and add on sales. This position also requires extensive product knowledge, maintaining inventory levels, control costs, proper staffing and overall day to day operations of the retail location. This position is approximately October 15 through January 15th.
Responsibilities:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Top candidates for this position will have a three to five years experience in the retail leadership environment. Must have excellent communication skills, sales skills, and organizational skills and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
· Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
· Administration and Management – Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.
· Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.

Special Requirements:
The expected salary range for this position is $28/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
