Our Technology groups are dedicated to developing and supporting robust systems that deliver pricing, analytics, clearing, and calculation services for RVS Products.
Responsibilities & Impact:
As a member of the RVS TechOps team, you will play a crucial role in supporting mission-critical products. This position involves hands-on fault diagnosis, resolution, process creation, optimization, and knowledge sharing in a high-pressure, client-focused environment.
You will be integrated into the RVS business line, working on essential products. This role provides an exciting opportunity to engage in AWS migration projects, offering exposure to the comprehensive range of tasks required for transitioning products from on-premises to AWS.
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for 2-3 products, taking ownership of end-to-end production support, incident management, and release management.
- Provide second-line technical support across various applications.
- Utilize strong technical skills and business acumen, combined with investigative techniques, to efficiently identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the development team as necessary for third-line escalation.
- Implement and monitor system checks to enable early detection of potential issues, raising appropriate service outage tickets to initiate the incident management process when required.
- Lead and participate in disaster recovery processes for all products.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualitifications
We seek an experienced technical resource with expertise in Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix, and Shell Scripting, alongside a solid understanding of ITIL concepts related to incident and problem management.
- Take initiative and responsibility for support tools, ensuring consistency across project and process management.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in fault diagnosis, resolution, knowledge sharing, and delivery in a high-pressure, client-focused environment.
- Engage in and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents, providing effective solutions.
- Drive exceptional service levels for the business, effectively managing technology strategy development and ownership through defined processes.
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned functional and technical issues, ensuring that any operational or technical challenges are addressed daily to facilitate the successful implementation of projects across various functions.
Additional Information:
Ability to work hybrid in our Toronto office 2-3 days a week.
