Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of existing applications by proactively managing vendor relationships and monitoring service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with IT vendors, ensuring alignment with business objectives and contractual obligations.

  • Monitor and enforce SLAs with vendors to ensure prompt issue resolution and system reliability.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of new applications, from requirement gathering and evaluation to implementation and transition to Business as Usual (BAU).

  • Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and IT system vendors by translating business requirements into technical specifications 

  • Engage with business stakeholders to identify and analyse business needs, conduct requirements gathering and define scope and objectives

  • Manage project scope, timeline and deliverables, ensuring successful implementation of new solutions.

  • Recommend improvements to business processes through technology adoption or optimization of existing tools and "Think outside the box" approach

  • Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes through technology adoption or optimization of existing tools and processes

  • Evaluate products and services from different vendors,  conducting  Proof of Concept (PoC) if necessary

  • Provide necessary change management and support documentation

  • Continuously observe, explore, and evaluate emerging technologies, assessing their potential applications to enhance business processes and improve system capabilities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or similar field

  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in delivering IT projects related to real estate, customer relationship, or hospitality

  • Experienced in Hotel Central Reservation System, Channel Connectivity and/or Property Management System,  preferable with experience in implementation projects

  • Strong understanding of API principles, including RESTful architecture, authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), and best practices for secure system integrations.

  • Ability to read and interpret JSON and XML structures to analyze API responses and integration requirements.

  • Excellent team player, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are pre-requisites for this role

  • Able to engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements

  • Able to manage project scope, timeline and deliverables

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while effectively managing tasks, priorities, and time.

  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate within a team environment.
