The 21st Century After School Program Director The Program Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the entire implementation and operation of the 21st CCLC Program, ensuring adherence to the approved grant. This role includes supervision of all staff involved in the program, such as Teacher Site Leads, Teacher Tutors, Paraprofessionals, Administrative Clerk, and Parent Liaison. The Program Manager will coordinate initiatives and special projects within the 21st CCLC Program throughout the project year. Acting as a liaison, they will facilitate communication between the program and external entities like GaDOE, vendors, contractors, and the community.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- CERTIFICATION:
- Minimum of SRT4-Certification in Early Childhood Education or related field (P-5); OR
- Passed the GACE Program Admissions Assessment or have exemption eligibility AND passed the GACE in Early Childhood Education
- EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree required with at least a 2.5 GPA
- WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Work experience gained through education and certification/license requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Provides academic support and guidance in Mathematics and/or Reading/ELA for elementary, middle or high school level
- Provides tutorial services to students eligible for Title I services
- Provides evaluation/assessment data to the Office of Federal Grants and Program Compliance
- Provides feedback of tutorial service outcome to parents
- Provides required Title I documentation as requested
- Participates in pre and post planning program activities
- Supports and promotes the vision and mission of the district
- Models and requires the use of management practices that promote high-performance, ethical behavior, collegiality, teamwork, and fairness
- Creates and sustains a positive and collaborative environment for central and school-based staff
