Your Role:

Tenable is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join our Identity Security team and lead the frontend part technically. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building and scaling our identity security solutions that help organizations worldwide secure their digital assets.

Your Opportunity:

  • Design and implement Tenable's frontend applications

  • Drive the elaboration of a technical vision for the frontend part of our stack

  • Participate in writing automated unit and end-to-end tests

  • Participate in team rituals, product discussions, UX/UI refinements

  • Create and maintain comprehensive internal technical documentation

  • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Technical Environment:

Technologies:

  • Primary: ReactJS, Typescript, MobX, React Query

  • Supporting: emotion/styled, AG-Grid, Kafka, DynamoDB, S3, C#, Kotlin, SQL

  • Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

  • Modern React-based frontend application 

  • Shared Design System driven by centralized UX team

  • Event-driven architecture using Kafka and APIs for real-time data processing

  • Container-based deployment using Kubernetes

  • Automated testing and deployment pipelines

  • Continuous Development powered by feature flags

  • Focus on observability and monitoring

  • Manage and secure digital identities across SAAS products and cloud platforms

  • Detect and remediate security vulnerabilities

  • Analyze and optimize access patterns

  • Ensure compliance with security standards

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in developing and scaling complex frontend applications

  • Strong proficiency in Javascript/Typescript and ReactJS

  • Solid understanding of general software engineering principles and software architecture

  • Product mindset with a sensitivity for UX matters

  • Proficiency with version management, CI/CD, Docker

  • Leadership skills bringing together practices

And Ideally:

  • Contributions to open-source projects

  • Backend or Database development experience

  • Experience with UI design

  • Experience with multi-tenant cloud-native development

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration

  • Previous experience in cybersecurity or identity management
