Senior People & Culture (P&C) Operations Specialist, EMEA (9-month Maternity Cover)

As Senior People & Culture (P&C) Operations Specialist, you will lead the operational delivery of P&C services in Aurora’s EMEA region, reporting directly to the Senior P&C Operations Manager (Global). 

With an eye for detail and a focus on process optimisation, digital enablement, and global consistency, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering first-class employee experience while helping to define and operationalise Aurora’s global P&C framework as we implement SAP SuccessFactors, specifically the Employee Central module, as our new HR management system. 

You’ll lead and empower the EMEA regional P&C Operations team to take ownership of their work, fostering a collaborative “One P&C, One Team” culture. Key Responsibilities

 EMEA People Operations Delivery 
  • Manage and oversee the regional delivery of day-to-day P&C Operations, ensuring seamless execution, compliance and exceptional service across all employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and employee data management.
  • Line manage and develop the EMEA P&C Operations team, ensuring effective resource planning for project work.
  • Partner with the Rewards and Benefits team to align payroll, performance, and benefits processes with accurate employee data and timely coordination of changes.
  • Collaborate closely with P&C Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Global Mobility teams to ensure end-to-end process consistency and efficiency across the EMEA region. 
HRMS Implementation (Project Team Member) 
  • Serve as a key subject-matter expert for the Employee Central module within the global SAP SuccessFactors implementation team.
  • Represent EMEA regional requirements throughout Employee Central design, testing, and deployment, ensuring compliance, usability, and process integrity. 
  • Support user training, change management, and knowledge transfer to embed Employee Central into daily operations and reporting cycles.
  • Contribute to the ongoing optimisation and maintenance of Employee Central post-go-live, ensuring system accuracy and continuous improvement.
New Market Set Up
  • Lead P&C Operations workstreams for New Market Entries in EMEA, ensuring delivery of P&C operational activities on time and in collaboration with cross-functional project teams.
  • Ensure all new market employee data structures and processes are aligned to Employee Central configuration and data governance standards. 
Process Development
  • Partner with the Senior P&C Ops Manager to design, document, and implement globally aligned operational processes embedded within Employee Central.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality, compliance, automation, and employee experience through system-enabled workflows.
  • Create and maintain process maps and SOPs to support consistent Employee Central usage and training delivery.
Data Integrity, Reporting and Compliance 
  • Lead regional adoption of the global data governance framework, ensuring compliance with Employee Central data structures, permissions, and audit standards.
  • Manage internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2), collaborating with other P&C teams, finance and internal technology teams on remediation and improvement plans.
  • Conduct internal data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to policies and SLAs.
  • Own and coordinate P&C Operations reporting, metrics, and analytics drawn from Employee Central, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation of Employee Central during system rollout and subsequent enhancement phases. 

What we are looking for

  • Experience working in a fast-paced HR function delivering HR Operations for a high-growth, multi-national organisation.
  • Strong understanding of UK and EMEA HR processes, with the ability to adapt to regional legal and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a small team with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
  • Proven experience contributing to HR system implementations and/or HR transformation projects, ideally with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Strong process mindset; experience in process mapping, data governance, and workflow optimisation.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver results to deadlines.
  • Deep appreciation for data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Experience working with employment law and worker-related regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across teams and regions.
  • Comfortable balancing operational detail with strategic projects in a fast-evolving environment.
