GENERAL SUMMARY
The Director, General Accounting oversees operational accounting functions for the company including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, global banking, accounting system administration, supervision of staff and security to ensure timely month end close and accurate reporting for the company. This position also heavily participates in Compliance.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Under the general direction of the Senior Vice President Accounting, the Director, General Accounting (Controller) has frequent contact with associates at all levels throughout the organization; works closely with executive team members on various projects; has frequent contact with vendors; limited contact with hotel members.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Worker characteristics are normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in accounting; 10 plus years of experience in financial accounting and reporting. CPA is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role is hybrid based out of the Preferred Travel Group Newport Beach, CA office. Expected to work in the office 3 days per week. Working environment is a class-A professional office building. Office space is beautifully as well as functionally decorated including all required technology tools. Employee is seated most of the time.

SALARY
$130,000-160,000 annually; actual compensation within this range will be determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise.
