The Program

The Presidential Associate (PA) Program is part of the larger CEO Global Presidential Program. It is an intensive, 18-month rotational program consisting of three six-month rotations designed for impending graduates of Bachelor’s degree programs.

This leadership development program integrates customized and diverse professional rotations with continuous development, strength-based coaching, mentoring, group networking opportunities, and strategic thinking initiatives to accelerate professional growth. We engage the participants' creativity, learning agility, and innovation to create bespoke experiences that attract, develop, and retain ELC’s next generation of leaders. 

Online Track

The Online track focuses on the increasingly important role of e/m-commerce and digital innovation in today’s retail landscape. The Online PA will be exposed to various functions within our organization with a focus on online commercial programming, site merchandising and analytics, and online marketing across brand.com and retailer.com. There will be a particular focus on emerging channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shop, which are fast-growing areas of the business.

Post-Program Placement

Upon successful completion of the program, PAs are considered for Assistant Manager-level roles at ELC. This placement is based on existing business needs, the PA’s evaluations, rate of development, contribution, and previous work experience. 

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026 (or advanced degree with up to one year of full-time non-internship work experience)
• Relevant Online-related internship or work experience
• Demonstrated record of achievement as well as strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills
• Global exposure/study abroad is a plus
• Ability to relocate to New York City

Compensation

The anticipated base salary for this position is $70,000.
