About Us

SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for Electrical Automation Technician who will diagnose and repair electrical faults.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

  • Promptly diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and computer-related issues in equipment and automation systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Test and calibrate instruments and sensors to maintain proper functionality.

Repair & Diagnostics

  • Repair and maintain electrical components, including transformers, rheostats, control panels, lighting systems, and automation devices.
  • Inspect, adjust, and verify electrical connections and equipment functionality post-repair.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor tools, materials, and work conditions to minimize risks and inefficiencies.
  • Promptly report equipment faults or hazards to the supervisor.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Recommend improvements to prevent future issues.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing electrical and automation systems in manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with Siemens and CodeSys programming is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical installations and systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and programming issues.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills;
  • Experience supervising or coordinating electricians is a plus.
