Could you be our full-time, onsite Process Engineer in West Mifflin, PA?
Take on an exciting challenge by applying your industrial engineering expertise to define, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for a new product. Collaborate across Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and other teams. Your role will involve:
Creating and updating detailed work instructions for production.
Designing manufacturing processes and selecting appropriate equipment, considering industrial standards and project constraints.
Preparing industrial documentation, defining master data, and establishing method time.
Estimating workloads and refining line balance.
Gather and communicate industrial requirements during product specification and design.
Engage in concurrent engineering with design teams, using standard SMP practices.
Develop macro-process flows and introduce new technologies with validation plans.
Identify equipment needs, estimate method times, and balance preliminary production lines.
Pinpoint critical steps for detailed Process FMEA and plan FAR/FAI activities.
Draft and refine production work instructions.
Complete documentation—such as industrial data sheets and IMFU.
Conduct P-FMEA and support prototype validations.
Define serial production specifications and ergonomic-compliant workstations.
Finalize detailed line balancing and validate via FAR and FAI.
Update documentation and workstations to reflect engineering changes.
Help the Production team meet QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets.
Support tender profitability alongside the Costing Manager.
Participate in R&D programs as the industrial representative.
Execute industrial feedback (REX) to improve future processes.

Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
5–10 years in manufacturing or industrial engineering (railway industry preferred).
Proficiency in Process Engineering, work instruction creation, line balancing, and Lean methodologies.
Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials, routings, and configuration tracking.
Solid understanding of Quality, EHS, and Ergonomics.
Familiarity with CAD and PLM tools (e.g., CATIA, DELMIA).
Skilled with IS tools, Process FMEA, and QRQC methodologies.
