Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to map, analyze, and document business processes, projects, and data flows.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing systems to identify and document gaps, undocumented processes, and systems, working with stakeholders to uncover data relationships.
- Schedule, plan, and lead requirements gathering sessions, converting business needs into technical specifications for architectural and technical review.
- Facilitate clear communication and understanding between stakeholders, project management, software leadership, and technical teams.
- Assist in the creation of user stories, wireframes, and other documentation to support software development projects.
- Help prioritize project tasks from a technical perspective.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate information from multiple sources.
- Proven ability to analyze existing IT systems, workflows, and processes to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps boards is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering tools and techniques.
- Experience with documentation tools like Microsoft Visio or similar.
- Ability to identify and document data flows and relationships within environments with organic or tribal knowledge.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts to aid in translating business requirements into data warehouse specifications is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within a software development environment.
- Experience in Managed Service Providers (MSP) is a plus.
- Background in the Technology Industry is an advantage.
- Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem is beneficial.
