Job Summary
Aretum is seeking a skilled Frontend Web Developer with a strong focus on digital accessibility to join our team supporting a large-scale federal technology modernization program. In this role, you will build and maintain Angular web applications and UI components while ensuring every interface you deliver is accessible to people with disabilities. You will implement designs from Figma, integrate Design System components, write frontend tests, and take ownership of accessibility compliance in your code, including proper ARIA attributes, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus management, and color contrast. You will work as an embedded member of an Agile scrum team, collaborating closely with UX designers, backend developers, accessibility specialists, and federal product owners within a SAFe framework.
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Travel Requirements
This is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
