Performs specialized maintenance and repair services in either multiple crafts (such as electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, and millwrighting), or in a single craft but with significant, specialized expertise. Has a sound understanding of the maintenance history of the building, equipment, and other facilities to be maintained.

Summary Compensation & Benefits:​

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Pay Range: This position offers $41.05/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines.
• Support others by performing a range of site maintenance activities.
• Help to install complex systems and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance.
• Conduct complex analyses, quality tests and inspections that require a high level of independent judgment.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
• Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED / Two years minimum of Industrial mechanical experience  
• Mandatory two-week on-call rotation every six weeks 
• Rotating day shifts 6:30 am- 3:00 pm, 7:00 am-3:30 pm, 8 am-4:30 pm
• Occasionally work rotating weekends.
• Mandatory overtime during outages
• Uses clear and effective verbal communication skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions, and formulating plans or policies.
• Works with guidance (without constant supervision) to efficiently plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to meet business objectives.
• Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop, monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures while ensuring they match organizational strategies and objectives.
• Manages and applies safe work systems with guidance (but not constant supervision).
• Works with guidance (without constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid, practical reports.
• Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
• Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
